[Test Subject Blue]

When I discovered this was on Newgrounds, you bet your blue enzyme mech suit that I played it. And boy, was it as fun as always. I love this game and its sequel, as well as the last game in the trilogy. And I did the same challenge that koopatriored did, except I counted my total bullets used. My best score is 54, feel free to do this challenge yourself and try to beat my score! please note that I only counted necessary shots, not ones used only for the purpose of making it easier. Anyways, can't wait to play the sequel! And good luck with the new website, Nitrome!

I love this game, and I finally got the real ending! how I got there was a bit surprising, but fun nonetheless. I only wish that there was a secret, SECRET ending. I love that in the first few levels you get new powers, and use them to unlock the rest of the game. I also want more levels, or at least a sequel.

And now, to help the poor, helpless souls who have no clue how to get to the secret levels.

0: try to get the power of level, and change the level to 0. you will get a power important for the rest of the secret levels.
-1: use 5 1-ups on the plant in level 1. then fall in the hole.
-2: in -1, have the music turned off, the enemies dead, no 1-ups remaining in the level, no 1-ups left in your stash, and get hit by the spikes.
-3: turn on the music in -2, and use the 1-up when all enemies are alive. get the 1-up and reset the level to do this easily.
-4: in -3, turn the music off and reset the level. then, use your score and get to the enemy.
-5: after reaching -4, go to level 9 by going through the doors in the negative levels and use your score to go through the gap at the top and get to the door outside. it's that easy.

very good game! only complaint is that it's so short.

I LOVE this game. Honestly, I wish that I didn't have to download to get the full story. Still, great game. Would rate 10 stars if I could. The controls are easy to grasp, and the combat system is very easy, but in a good way. And having a pet dragon? I wish Minecraft had that feature. Overall, I would only change that it's not multiplayer (that I know of), and then it would be perfect.

By the way, I made this edit to say that I beat the Old One, but I didn't get the Face the Enemy medal. I got it in game, but not on Newgrounds. Is this a bug? If so, please fix it.

Edit: Nevermind, the game has been updated to a state of being better than perfection. I would definitely rate 6 stars out of 5 if I could.

We're working on multiplayer - it should be in the next major update! We actually did a stream just a few days ago with an initial test (me and another dev playing).
